Here it is! Blog post with my new chequered coat – which I adore! The chequered pattern can look so nice, but it can make you look funny if you don’t combine it right. So what’s the secret?
The chequered pattern has a very strong and sharp shape which grabs attention on its own. That’s why it looks best combined with monochrome (one-color) clothes. It looks even more adorable if we combine it with colors that appear in the pattern – as I did in this outfit. Grey, which is said to become the new black, looks really good with reddish and brown shades. Everything together looks very natural, neutral and gentle. The thing I like the most about this outfit is that you can wear it for any opportunity! Job interview, appointment, coffee with a friend or just for a walk through town.
