I admit I used to avoid wearing clothes in colors that were too similar to my skin tone. It looks too much like I’m not even wearing anything. But now I’ve found a solution to the problem, and I can at last wear pretty and gentle peach colored dresses such as this.
The secret lies in the pattern! The pattern draws attention to itself, and helps prevent the clothes from melding with the skin too much. A similar effect can be gained if the clothes are of a non-smooth texture, or if the material wrinkles. This dress that I’m wearing is full of flounces and cute details on the ends of the sleeves, which make sure that the dress work well on its own and comes out elegant. Now I’m addicted to these shades!
