My second Black Friday purchase were the cutest make-up brushes I’ve ever seen: Bella&Bear’s brush set for the eyes called “Cats Eyes”. The packaging looked great on the webstore photos already, and when I saw that they contain every brush needed to create the perfect makeup (and a bonus eyebrow brush) they flew into my shopping basket instantly. Naming the brushes after species of cats was the icing on the cake which I couldn’t resist.
I’ve used them many times already and I love most of them, I like the brush brow called Iberian Lynx the most, and I use it every day. It allows me to make a precise outline and helps me fill my eyebrows. What I really like about it is the fact that it’s two brushes in one. On one side there’s a brush to comb and shape the brows, and on the other side there’s a brush for outlining and blending. The other two brushes I was impressed by were the shade/concealer brush called Iromote and the Pampas Cat blending brush. They do their job gorgeously. I was a bit disappointed by the smallest one called Leopard Cat brush though. It’s supposed to be used for the most precise outlines, but I think the bristles are much too hard. It’s still useful, but I really have to be gentle when using it. The last one that I use for blending and outlining my eyes is the Black Footed Cat brush, it’s incredibly soft and its sideways-cut shape helps creating styles such as smokey eyes. Its shape also help getting into the corners of my eyes and blends the shades together nicely.
